Info: Annual. Delightfully fragrant. Attracts bees and butterflies.
An attractive mix of unique pastel shades and traditional colors like apricot, salmon pink and yellow as well as red, pink, rose-red, violet and white. Height about 15cm.
Care: Pre-cultivation is done in a warm (greenhouse/windowsill), sow shallowly in seed trays or directly outdoors from mid-May (frost-free). Just press the seeds firmly, do not cover with soil (light germinators). Prick out seedlings into groups in pots as soon as true leaves appear. Plant spacing 15 x 15 cm.
Use: Sweet Alyssum is suitable for group plantings; great on flower beds, in natural gardens, in bowls, and any type of container.
Gardener's tip: Blooms about 7 - 9 weeks after sowing. For a second bloom in the same year, trim the flowers back slightly after the first bloom.
